Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is a treatment used to release chronic muscle tension and tension in the connective tissue through slower strokes and more direct pressure applied across the grain of the muscles. Used for chronic aches and pains, and contracted areas such as a stiff neck, upper back, lower back pain, leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders.


Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the utilization of manual therapies, modalities, and exercise to aid in the recovery from injury to muscle, joints, and bones. Physiotherapy encompasses both acute and chronic injury and conditions.


Scar Therapy

Every injury leaves behind marks including surgical procedures. To prevent an overgrowth of scar tissue the utilization of manual techniques and modalities to help alter the physical properties of a scar, encourage realignment of collagen fibers and promote even healing by reducing adhesions, bulging, and scar shrinkage.

Myriam has graduated from the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Collège Boréal. She has had the opportunity to work with clients with different goals such as; improving overall strength, weight loss and regaining strength post-surgery. Since then, she has realized that she loves training clients in person in order to help with spotting, techniques and monitoring their progress. She will be attending Laurentian University this fall where she will study Physical Education. Myriam’s passion for training started her first year of college when she decided she wanted to improve her overall strength and physical health. Since then, she has been enjoying every minute of her health journey. She has played a variety of sports growing up, but the one she loves the most is volleyball. She played this particular sport for nine years, two of which were for the Collège Boréal Vipers. Myriam is a positive and energetic person who loves to motivate and help others! Her goal is to help you reach yours and improve your overall health. She also looks forward to sharing the health benefits that come from personal training.

Having spent over 16 years in the dynamic world of junior hockey with the Sudbury Wolves and internationally with Team Canada. As an RMT of 22 years, Dan possesses advanced proficiency in various massage techniques tailored to meet individual needs. Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, Dan remains dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in sports therapy and helps to foster that in the next generation of therapists as a part time faculty member at Cambrian College. ​Danièle has always been a very passionate and motivated individual which has helped her in pursuing her many educational achievements as well as opening and operating the Optimum Health Center for over 5 years.

The Optimum Health Center, "her baby" is a multidisciplinary clinic within the health care industry. This center which encompasses different health care professionals will strive to help patients with any need that they require. Together she wishes to bring better overall health to all who would require these services. She envision a place where the patient comes first and where integrity is of the utmost concern. She will continually work with all the other professionals either through referral or within her clinic to help injured patients get back to activities of daily living, sporting events and even work. Danièle's mission statement is to get you back into your optimum health! Danièle's has gained many experiences through her years of work including but not limited to high level competition, fundraising and volunteering. She has volunteered within the community doing fundraising with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sudbury, volunteering at different local sporting events as well as working with National Level athletes at the Canada Winter and Summer Game as well as the Pan American Games. She hopes to one day make to the big stage and work at an Olympic event.
